Young Disney Heros Wanted

In honor of Disney's Big Hero 6 movie, Disney is challenging kids between the ages of 8 and 17 to develop a solution to a problem that affects themselves, their families, or their communities for a chance to win a trip to the premiere of Big Hero 6 movie in Hollywood, California. Hasbro Gets Rights to Make Disney Princess Dolls

Hasbro has global rights to develop Disney princess dolls including Elsa and Anna from Frozen beginning in 2016. Mattel will stop manufacturing the dolls next year. Hasbro will be partnering with Walt Disney Company to make the dolls.

Tangled Show on Disney Magic Cruise

Disney's Tangled is coming aboard the Disney Magic in 2015. Disney's oldest cruise ship will use the Tangled movie's songs and develop them into a Broadway-like show about 45 minutes long. The Magic sails from Port Canaveral to Copenhagen May 15th, spending time in the Mediterranean over the summer, and then returning to sail out of Miami, FL September 2015. So another reason to take a Disney Magic cruise? See what sounds like a great musical!

Want to see a tour of how special effects are made in movies at Disney World? You only have a few more days left. The Studio Backlot Tour at Hollywood Studios closes Saturday, September 27, 2014. Oaken's Frozen Funland will be taking up part of the soon-to-be-available space.

Coming Soon: Frozen Ride at Walt Disney World

I'm sure you could have guessed this, but construction has started on a ride based on the movie Frozen at Walt Disney World in Florida. The new attraction will be at the Epcot theme park at the Norway Pavilion and will replace Maelstrom. Guests will be able to meet Anna and Elsa.
