Disney Animation Short Feast

Right before Big Hero 6 begins, the animation short Feast will premiere. If you like adorable little dogs, you probably will want to keep your eyes open for this one. Feast tells the story of a man's love life as seen through the eyes of his dog, Winston over what else - food.

New Disney World Gift Shop

Just in time for Halloween, Disney World has a new gift shop for Magic Kingdom's Haunted Mansion ride. The gift shop is called Memento Mori, and it is in the Liberty Square area of the park.

New Hotels for Disney Athletes

Many, many athletes professional and amateur have attended events at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex and now Disney is getting started on a development aimed at them and their guests. Flamingo Crossings, the name of the development, will include TownePlace Suites and SpringHill Suites set to open in January 2016. The hotels will share two batting cages, a practice field, a fitness center, a pool, and a basketball court. Disney is also planning on building the development out in upcoming years to include dining chains, grocery stores, and clothing stores.

Disney World is 43

Did you know that Disney World has been around for 43 years? When I heard this, my first thought was only 43? With everything Disney, it's hard to believe the Magic Kingdom theme park is only 43, but look how far it's come, how much has been added. The new paint looks great on Cinderella's Castle and I bet it didn't change colors back in the day!

Halloween Dessert Party at Disney World

Would you like to eat dessert at Disney World on Halloween in an upscale yet eerie atmosphere? The dessert party takes place at Cinderella's Royal Table in the Magic Kingdom theme park. Spend time in Cinderella's Royal Table before it closes for maintenance from January 5, 2015 to Spring 2015.

Guests who purchase a ticket to the Villains’ Sinister Soiree: A Wicked Takeover of Cinderella Castle dessert party and Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party get preferred viewing for the 8:15 Mickey's "Boo-to-You" Halloween parade and for Happy HalloWishes Fireworks Spectacular.

Tickets cost $99 plus tax per person. Guests must also have admission tickets to Magic Kingdom and Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party to enter. The dessert soiree takes place at 10:15 p.m. and 11:45 p.m. each night of Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Call 407-939-5262 to make a reservation.

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Disney World

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is taking place now til October 31, 2014 on select nights from 7 p.m. to 12 a.m. at Disney World's Magic Kingdom theme park. Guests can dress in costumes and collect candy at Magic Kingdom theme park. See favorite Disney characters dressed up for Halloween. Watch Mickey's Boo-To-You Halloween Parade and hear spooky tunes sung by Disney villains! Select attractions will also be open late for the party.
