Maleficient Free Fall Game

Are you excited to see Disney's Maleficient? Before you see the movie, you can play the game. It looks a bit like the game Candy Crush but with gemstones. Maleficient Free Fall is a puzzle game where players try to create matches of three or more gemstones. Players learn and apply spells to move forward in the game.

Star Wars Running Weekend at Disneyland

Disneyland in California is adding a new running event! And it's Star Wars themed. More information coming soon, but the Star Wars Half Marathon Weekend takes place January 15 - 18, 2015. The race weekend include a half marathon, 10K, 5K, and kids races. There will even be a Wookiee Welcome Party. Registration opens June 10, 2014.

New Ride at Magic Kingdom Open

Magic Kingdom Open All Night

Come Rock Your Disney Side. Celebrate the start of the summer season. Disney World's Magic Kingdom is open for 24 hours! Only an admission ticket to Magic Kingdom is needed. The 24-hour celebration starts at 6:00 a.m. and ends 6:00 a.m. Saturday at Walt Disney World in Lake Buena Vista Florida. Guests may dress up in costumes. And California's Disney is holding the event at their Disney Parks too.

Welcome ceremony begins at 5:50 a.m. Friday.

Be sure to keep your eyes out for Disney villains and the "It's Good to Be Bad" Disney parade. Enjoy dancing around Cinderella's castle in the nighttime hours, special screenings of The Incredibles, and more.

Disney Cruise Line Sailing to Hawaii

It's only two cruises, but Disney Cruise Line hasn't been to Hawaii in a couple years. In September 2015, the Disney Wonder will offer two 10-night cruises to Hawaii.

Frozen Coming to Disney On Ice

You know the movie. Now you can see it on ice. Disney on Ice. Though some may wish to let it go with Frozen already, you have to admit the movie is perfect for a Disney on Ice tour. It's called Frozen after all. If you've been to Orlando's Amway Center, you know how big and beautiful the building is. The tour of Frozen will begin at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida this September and then continue from there.

Not only will characters like Elsa from the movie ice skate, other Disney characters such as Mickey and Minnie will make an appearance as well.

The audience will be given a chance to sing along to the movie's popular songs such as "Let it Go."

Other cities the tour is set to travel to include: Atlanta, Baltimore, Minneapolis, Newark (NJ), and Tampa.

This summer Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida is getting not one but TWO new hotels. The hotels, B Resort and the Four Seasons will be located in the Downtown Disney area.

We know Disney bought LucasFilm in 2013 and that their plan is to do a new Star Wars trilogy film every other year. Now Walt Disney Company has revealed that they have three Star Wars spin-off movies being planned.

Disney's Polynesian Village Resort Renovation

Changes are happening at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. Thouigh you may know it as simply Polynesian Resort, it's original name is Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and it is returning to this name. The new Disney Vacation Club option,  Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows, next to the hotel is being constructed. Trader Sam's Grog Grotto, a lounge area with small plates of food and tiki cocktails, will also be at the resort and is set to be completed in 2015.

Harambe Nights at Disney World

We know the Lion King show has returned to Animal Kingdom, but also to celebrate The Lion King movie's 20th anniversary, Animal Kingdom is hosting Harambe Nights.

The event takes place every Saturday from June 7, 2014 to August 9, 2014. Guests are invited inside the Animal Kingdom's Harambe Theater to see a new show, The Lion King: Concert in the Wild, which includes a live orchestra and celebrity narrator. The show (about an hour long) begins at 7:30 p.m.

    Lion King Show Returns to Animal Kingdom

    Disney's The Lion King songs are awesome. And Walt Disney World's Festival of the Lion King is a lively and enjoyable show to watch at Walt Disney World's Animal Kingdom so I was surprised when the shows stopped earlier this year. But thankfully it's coming back! Walt Disney World's Festival of the Lion King comes back to Animal Kingdom in June. This summer Disney World will also a special Lion King related event called Harambe Nights. More information to come!

    Seven Dwarfs Roller Coaster Opens May 28th

    You've heard about the new ride at Walt Disney World's (Orlando, Florida) Magic Kingdom, haven't you? Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is almost ready for the public. Everyone's been asking when? when?And we've got a date. It will be open to the public May 28th. That is a Wednesday and school is not yet out and spring break is over, but I'm still betting on long lines. Can't wait to try it!

    Jedi Training Academy at Hollywood Studios

    Excited about Star Wars Weekends at Holllywood Studios? In the spirit of Star Wars, Hollywood Studios offers a Jedi Training Academy for kids ages 4 - 12 who get trained by a Jedi Master - for 20 minutes. Kids get to wear a brown robe and use a lightsaber to feel like a real Jedi. Battle Darth Vader and those who succeed are awarded with a Jedi Knight certificate.

    Sign up for Jedi Training Academy: Visit ABC Sound Studio at Hollywood Studios when the park opens. Kids who want to participate must be present for the registration.

    Twelve kids between 4 and 12 years of age will be chosen for each show.

    Volunteer at Disney for Free Theme Park Tickets
